Finding the Gift in Failure

Every day we face four elements that test our attitude:  the unexpected, changes, challenges and negative people. These four elements don’t make appointments – they just show up! The way we choose to respond can make a situation better or worse.

Thursday’s keynote speaker, Sam Glenn, has experienced the “gift of failure” first hand and will share his experiences in an outrageously funny, insightful and heartfelt presentation that will inspire you to make huge changes through small choices.

Sam’s life was changed forever when the business he operated in a billion-dollar industry was lost overnight in a fire. Broke, depressed and riddled with doubt, Sam found himself in unfamiliar territory. As he puts it, “It was the land of failure and frustration.”

He got by working nights as a janitor and delivering newspapers, and sleeping on borrowed floor space of his family members’ homes.  Through small changes to his attitude and lifestyle, Sam developed the courage to dream a new dream for his life and try again.

Today, Sam operates a highly successful speaking business, and has authored 16 incredible books on attitude, character, overcoming failure, and more.

“We all can find meaning, purpose and opportunity in our failures and adversities. And that’s really what I do, help people touch their potential, overcome fears and show them the power of their best attitude in action.” - Sam Glenn
